A hearty blend of organic beans, lentils, peas, barley, and oat groats. This versatile dry soup mix makes a wholesome base for homemade soups and can be prepared with water or your favorite broth, vegetables, herbs, and seasonings.

Ingredients: Organic barley, organic red kidney beans, organic yellow split peas, organic black beans, organic green split peas, organic red chili beans, organic pinto beans, organic green lentils, organic red lentils, organic navy beans, organic great northern beans, organic adzuki beans, organic oat groats.

Cooking Directions

1. Boil: Add 2 cups of dry soup mix to 2 cups of boiling water. Cover and boil for 2 minutes.
2. Soak: Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 1 hour. Drain.
3. Simmer: Add 4 cups of fresh water or broth. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to low. Simmer for approximately 2 hours, or until the beans are tender.
4. Finish Cooking: Uncover and increase heat to medium. Gently boil for an additional 45–60 minutes, stirring about every 15 minutes.
5. Serve: Remove from heat and serve warm. Season to taste or add your favorite vegetables, herbs, and spices.
